Luis Zubeldía is the new head coach of Fluminense

Argentine coach signed a contract until the end of 2026

Fluminense finalised the signing of Luis Zubeldía on Thursday (25/09). The 44-year-old Argentine coach, winner of the 2023 Conmebol Sudamericana, has signed a contract with the club until the end of 2026.

Joining him are the assistants Maxi Cuberas, Carlos Gruezo and Alejandro Escobar, as well as the fitness coach Lucas Vivas.

Professional leaves team leadership; permanent assistant coach Marcão takes over the team on an interim basis

Fluminense FC announces that Renato Gaúcho is no longer in charge of the team's coaching. The coach resigned after Tuesday's match (24/09).

Assistants Alexandre Mendes and Marcelo Salles are also leaving the club. The club thanks the professionals for all their dedication throughout their work and wishes them success in the continuation of their careers.

Permanent assistant coach Marcão takes over the team on an interim basis.
